QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer who is passionate about quality, curious about how systems work, and eager to learn both manual and automation testing.

This role is open to freshers as well as candidates with up to 3 years of experience who have strong analytical thinking, good communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset.

You will work closely with product, development, and business teams to understand requirements, test applications, identify issues, and ensure high-quality releases.

Location: Indore

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, user stories, and application workflows
• Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios (manual + basic automation)
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA perspective early in the cycle
• Support automation efforts (learning/working on tools like Selenium)
• Perform basic API testing (Postman/REST/SOAP)
• Validate data using basic SQL queries
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices
• Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 0–3 years of experience (Freshers with strong fundamentals can apply)
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand business logic and workflows quickly
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of:
  • Manual testing techniques
  • API testing concepts
  • Databases (SQL basics)
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA or similar bug tracking tools

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Exposure to automation tools (Selenium or similar)
• Basic programming knowledge (Java / JavaScript / HTML / CSS)
• Experience or understanding of Agile/Scrum
• Awareness of Git/GitHub
• Understanding of non-functional testing (performance, security – basic level)
