In his previous role, one of our co-founders, John McCloy encountered a common challenge: the search for proficient, responsive, and reasonably priced programmers, both locally and abroad, to tackle vital projects. While domestic developers commanded high rates and showed little interest in smaller-scale, yet crucial, customization projects, offshore counterparts offered apparent cost savings but often faltered in communication, responsiveness, and business understanding.
Faced with this dilemma, John, alongside his co-founder Vishal, embarked on a mission to bridge this gap. Thus, SHJ was born.
What began as a solution to their own frustrations soon evolved into a successful venture. As the demand for their services grew, SHJ expanded its offerings beyond development, extending into the realm of highly affordable and customizable clerical / administrative support services and website development.

With a degree in Finance from Rider University and over 3 decades of versatile experience spanning hands-on cross-departmental roles and strategic leadership, John ascended to the position of VP of Operations at New Penn. Following his tenure at New Penn, John embraced a challenging turnaround opportunity, assuming the role of CEO at JP Donmoyer, a prominent bulk tank transportation provider. Under his leadership, the company underwent a successful revitalization culminating in its sale. Motivated by a desire to address a critical market need, John co-founded SHJ Intl. recognizing the demand for high-quality development services at affordable rates, SHJ was established to bridge this gap, offering clients the caliber of domestic expertise at offshore pricing.
Vishal Agrawal

Vishal has been a driving force behind the company’s vision and core values. After studying at Carnegie Mellon University, Vishal honed his skills through hands-on experience in diverse consulting projects in the US. His time in the field not only equipped him with a robust foundation but also instilled the practical insights crucial for success in the ever-evolving landscape of IT services.
Anchal Garg
Director - Marketing / Finance
Anchal brings a wealth of experience from her strategic roles at JP Morgan and The Boston Consulting Group. At SHJ, Anchal has played various roles including handling marketing, finance, building a new business vertical etc. She is an alumna of the best educational institutions in India, holding an MBA in Finance from the esteemed IIM Calcutta and B.E from BITS Pilani.

With over 12 years of dedicated experience, Gurpreet Kaur has actively contributed as a core developer on diverse projects, showcasing a profound understanding of technical intricacies. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, she brings a deep-seated understanding of technical complexities to the table.
