Problem
Botwinick & Company., a leading accounting firm in NY/NJ was looking to revamp their existing website and create something that was professional yet different from the regular and dull accounting firm websites. They also wanted something that could showcase the fun and creative side of their culture.
Solution
We created a unique look and feel, blending artistic and modern by combining professional cues with pop art images. Pop art images adorn the Botwinick & Co. office and in a way representative of their workplace culture. We also tried to use images to represent NY and NJ which is where most of their clients are located.
Design
Design was a significant part of this project. The clients were looking for a total overhaul: new website, fresh branding and updated imagery. We designed the website with its brand colors to be both visually arresting and versatile. This updated look was carried throughout to create a striking and consistent look.
Color Scheme
The primary color used here is part of the Brand's identity, but the website required a bright enough color to make the crucial elements stand out. So we decided to go with this particular shade of orange. Orange is a very vibrant and energetic color. In its muted forms it can be associated with the changing seasons, orange can represent change and movement in general.
Typography
One of our key priorities when picking a font was legibility since the client was bound to have lengthy blocks of text given the nature of their business. Raleway is a perfect blend of style, functionality, and legibility.
